work on your synths
(the chords were a great choice)
try not to use the original drum synths, use FCP or use effects on the drums/claps/hi-hits/etc.
srs play with the sound generators a bit.

its good

you just need to to do a little organizing.
i believe it is really a 3/5 because i vote tops on everything.
but the sounds get in the way of each other they need to coalesce and
try not to repeat the same tune for the majority of the song.
but a lot of it was random noise to me, just organize the song to so what you want it to do.
and if you dont know what you want it to do, then start over or break the song down so much (into chords and beats) you can put music and not meaningless noise ontop of the song.
ive been watcing house, i think it might of come off a little house-ish,

I do agree with you on this, the song does need a bit of work, i never knew 100% what i was going to do exactly with it when the original idea sprung to mind. I'm going to try and work on the song a little bit more, and i'll upload again when i'm satisfied with it. Thanks for your constructive criticism and your generous vote, always appreciated.

you have a raw style

i enjoy seeing style in newgrounds, instead of the average MIDI slapped together songs. i may say that a lot, but it bears repeating.
this song may not be the most harmonically made, but it is still very good to me, although the beat gets a littl repetitive, try changing it mildly fro songs like these by quickening the hi-hat or changing the bassdrum's rythm.
it was weird, but i enjoyed it nonetheless.

you really love that piano, lol

protip: take the chords you used in the piano's channel and copypste them into another instrument (up to your judgement) then use the "arpeggiate" tool and tweak it, then listen.
i swear this really adds to a song. adn makes it soud more full.
and try adding a...bassier...bassline. its pretty far up the piano so you cant really differentiate it from the harmony.

K, what you're saying is good, I'm going to try it, I've honestly never had a trance to really mess around with the arpeggiator.

And I'll work on the bassline trust me, I don't like it. Lol

It doesn't have enough bass. But when I submit it again, I'll have a bit more of the song added.

i really like the chords and patterns you used here, theyre really great, but that tromboney-sounding instrument needs some rethought, lol.
drums need to be less MIDI-ish (if theyre in seperate channels, try using EFFECTS on them, it will help the overall sound of the piece, no joke)
i only bother doing this because i think you have potential that you have yet to fully realise.

That trombone (tuba really) thing was a new vst I had got and wanted to try out. Yeah, it's free, so it's not good, but I just wanted to see what it would sound like.

I'm not done with this yet, so I will work really hard with the drums! I have a problem with that, haha, but I'm going to get better with them.

hmm

you can compose music well, everything fits well into the song, but you should listen to the genre (in newgrounds or listen to pros) to pick up some of the effects and little things they use to make iot sound really good.
what im trying to say is that this song prolly looks great on paper, but you need to execute it better.

But for this one, I'm just at a stand still, and don't know where to take it to make it sound good or even know where to start.

not a big fan of techno, seiign as many of them end up the same, but whatever,
nice tune, personally, i think it needs more style (effects/glitches/ambience)
but 4.42 cant be wrong, so what do i know.

this song is nice, i like the use of style to make it sound different than the regular old song.
(try using reason or FLstudio[i can get you flstudio, if you want])
thisa will really give you the tools you need to make enjoyable sounds out of peoples speakers.

Hey, I only comment on the work I come across that is commendable and what you made was excellent, including your music. I see that FLStudio is the most popular choice lately and I decided that when I can afford a new rig I'll take it on to see what I can make of it. ACID is like my trusty old BMX right now, I know how to ride it and I can still do a few tricks on it yet.
