funky

nothing like coke, but
it's a fun little song, i liked it.

NKAT responds:

Hey thanks for the 8, I honestly agree with you there. I am glad you had some pleasure from this.

i'd hate to not leave a good comment

but i'm real tired.
i just wanted to say keep working on music and stuff,
it's not quite there, but i can hear something good.

some comments

i like it, although unmastered, it sounds like it's gonna be an awesome track.
kicks are really punchy, might wanna tone it down a little.
the instruments were really well picked,
and everything has it's place and puts it's influence into the song.
really liked the drums, btw.
and the low attack bell-like pad, really sounded like water IN SPACE.
good jorb.

tijnn responds:

I personally like the puncy kicks (: But i can understand that you might think it's a little out of place for a easy song like this one...

Thanks for the kind review though ; )

woo

funky lyrics.
but the song is really great, the mastering is nice, really heavy.
the synching was great, really helpd the flow and buildup.
and crazy autotune, dude, lol.

:O.

you need to make some videos about EQing.
i just can't seem to do it right, the frequencies get tangled and
ducking my bass and seperating doesn't always sound as good as it needs to be.
not to mention you can EQ like dj jesus.
i'm not a big fan of trance, and so i don't know a lot about what makes it good,
but this sounded pretty nice.
that clap in the beinning was a little weird, but everything else was pretty nice.

Kazmo responds:

LoL I could try, since I find that EQing is a huge part of creating the right mix.

I kinda like the clap, I don't really see anything wrong with it.

Thanks for the review! :3

wow

no votes OR comments?
i liked it, the beat was nice, although there's not much to the son.
but it IS just a test thing.
but it sounds nice, i like it :D
the vocal thing was cool for it's glitchiness.
reall laid-back, i'd like to hear some more songs from you, dudah.

Ef-X responds:

thought its a late response, thanks for da review.

hmm

this def was not drum n bass, if you want your scores to do better, put it in techno, or dance or something like that.
lots of saws, but it was done pretty well, and i always liked the bass saw.
i lol'd at the auto-tune/vocoder, but it was kinda nice.
kinda cheesy with the "don't forget to love again", but whatever.
it was pretty ok, better than half the trash that comes in :D

ElectroSystematic responds:

thanks for the review. and yeah...its supposed to be cheesy. It was sort of thrown together without regard to what we were saying...its more about the beatzzzz anyhow haha.

yeah

NG's been really quiet lately as far as comments go.
anyways, the drums sound nice, could use a LITTLE bit more bass, but try not to make it sound unreal.
the vocal sounds were kinda MIDI, but if you want to make it sound better, try EQing some and adding a light reverb to make it blend in.
the flute sounded nice, it had some good vibrato added, which i liked.
the brass was kinda twang-y(for lack of a better word), lower the high frequencies so it's not so bright, and autoclip it so that it blares when emphasis is needed (it'll help with the momentum and flow of the song).
also, use the stereo effcti and widen some of the instruments to make the chords wider.
at 1:18, i really liked how the midi voice bent downwards, it really sounded cool.

Cimba responds:

Ya i'll work with the soundboard a little when i have nothing else to do. And i meant to make the brass kind of rough and blaring twards the end. i think it gives it a sense of boldness and courage for the soldiers.

hmm

good classical piece, kudos on it.
and the piano's panning was nice, sounds like a real piano.

Calamaistr responds:

well, i customely setted every tone to the respective distance of the key as its like youre sitting in front of an actual piano, ive done so on the other tracks aswell but this one was quite large and took some more time. ;)

thanks.

well

it's a pretty good song.
i would tighten the clap up a little, it's really..squishy sounding.
well as far as composition, it was nice, and never stayed in the same place for long,
but the timbres aren't exactly the best, and this song needs to be refined a little bit,
so 8/10
