sounds 8-bit-ish

i really like chiptunes.
anyways, you should try making hip hop, coz all of your beats are fatter/phatter than
something.. that's... fat...
couldnt think of anything, its 6 am.

gotta get some sleep.

pookicker responds:

That sounded... awesome! I haven't heard of "fat beats" in a long ass time and to have you use it as a descriptor, awesome! thanks!

histrionic

what an SAT word.
well the instruments are MIDI, which i never liike, but the composure of the song
is nice and refreshing, its different than a lot of what i hear,
spend more time tweaking instruments (or find more realistic ones)
and add stylistic effects (look at aphex twin, but it doesnt have to be that crazy) and people will really respond well to your music.

pookicker responds:

I'm glad you liked it in spite of the MIDI. I was hoping to disguise the obviousness of the instruments with some f/x and vocals but, it was sounding muddled. I appreciate the input and I will apply what you said when I get back to recovering this (my hard drive just took a dump).

shameless

SHAMELESS!!
well its atmospheric (dont think this is the right instrument for the job, tho)
and the ...composure fits the purpose.

Saigon responds:

this thing was spur of the moment (as mentioned i ripped it off clusters.) Thanks for the review :)

good!

im actually working on a piano peice, but its not going so well :/
but anyways really uplifting and sounds very real and nice.
its missing something, though..
say, some ambient strings or something, i dunno.
just a suggy.

Saigon responds:

yeah i should build on this melody, maybe i might...Ty for the review.

ive never really liked garageband

but this is purty gewd!
real catchy ( a bit midi, but w/e) and rythmic, i really like it
drums are really nice

Saigon responds:

thanks, GB is the only program i have 2 make music right now :( but i manage :) thanks for the feedback.

i like this!

good job on the front page!
the clap (i guess its coz i have surround sound) is really wide.
but everything is realy nice, the drums are even great quality,
again, good job!

i like

this was very nice, atmospheric and everything was good.
nothing to criticize about, and because it was a loop, i dont think you have to make it extravagant.
good job.

more classical than ambient

that doent matter, its a purtty good song, well put together, and the instruments arent half bad (well except for the drums, in which case, youi should spend more time looking for and tweaking instruments) although these are small things, this can really make your music sound more professional and therefore better scores.
have fun makng music :)

Bru2712 responds:

Well thanks =) (I always said I was bad with genres lol) thanks for the review I'm glad you like it.

the original

you sort of of derived from it, in that the bassline is a little different, but you pulled it off,
but the instruments are midi and you could work on that to make it sound more professional.

this is you playing guitar, rite?

if it is, its really smooth, this really reminded me of steve vai because of the good imitation of human sounds using a guitar.
i liked it nonetheless.
